Product Overview: The ARGH30CMTA-U offers roughly 2.5 Tons of cooling (27,600 BTU/h rated at T1) and represents a mid-point in the range, providing higher capacity while still maintaining a single-phase power supply. This model is excellent for large residential living areas, small shops, or office suites (~40–45 m²) that require ducted cooling. The indoor unit remains slim (240 mm height) but is wider (1,400 mm length) to accommodate a larger fan and coil for the increased capacity. With its high airflow and cooling output, the 30k model can serve multiple rooms via branching ducts. The outdoor unit (AOGH30CBTA-U) is beefed up with a bigger compressor compared to the 24k, yet thanks to inverter technology, it modulates to low power when full capacity isn’t needed (down to ~2.84 kW cooling). This prevents short-cycling and improves comfort and efficiency.

Usage Note: With its higher airflow, the 30k model can cool multiple rooms – for example, a living room and a connected dining area through two ducts. Balancing dampers in the ducts are recommended to fine-tune airflow to each room. Because the indoor unit is wider (1.4 m), ensure the ceiling void can accommodate the length for installation (you may need to remove a ceiling tile or create an access for retrofit). The refrigerant pipe run can be extended with additional charge as needed (factory charge covers ~7.5 m; see manual for extra charge per meter). For villas, an advantage is that this model doesn’t require upgrading to 3-phase power—saving on electrical infrastructure costs.
